IDEX Partners

One community group’s mantra (translated for US visitors) is evident in rural Nepal.
IDEX develops long-term funding relationships with effective organizations that we call partners.
Instead of one-time grants, our commitment is to provide flexible funding in 3-year cycles. Our grants often support important areas of work that are either overlooked or neglected by other funders.
Flexible Funding
IDEX’s niche is in funding uniquely effective and well-established grassroots organizations that are large enough to have sound management and financial systems to satisfy donor concerns, yet small enough to nurture local leadership and problem-solving.
IDEX’s job is to look for:
- legality of the organization
- transparency and effectiveness of accounting and banking systems
- leadership and management strategies
- sources of funding
- organizational goals
- objectives, and activities
- community involvement
- Board of Directors oversight
So that you can trust your money is used effectively.
Our Catalyst Grantees are newer relationships we are considering for long-term partnership.
Partner grant amounts range from $15,000 to $50,000 per year. Catalyst grants are typically $5,000.
