IDEX Young Professionals Group
The IDEX Young Professional Group is made up of passionate individuals from a variety of backgrounds who are dedicated to grassroots poverty alleviation and social justice in the global south and raising awareness and funds for IDEX partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America. There are a variety of ways to become involved with the "YPG":
Members
IDEX YPG Members are those people interested in promoting and supporting IDEX's mission. IDEX Young Professionals Group Members are invited to be as creative and strategic as possible in their efforts, and are able to attend as many events and monthly planning meetings as they would like.
Ambassadors
The IDEX YPG Ambassadors are members who would like to more deeply engage in the IDEX YPG. Ambassadors will participate actively in Young Professionals volunteer work. They will regularly attend planning meetings and important related events throughout the year. They will participate in fundraising for the organization, and/or recruiting new members for the IDEX YPG. Ambassadors will build strategic linkages and provide new opportunities for fundraising and organizational growth. Ambassadors are willing to host a house party or organize an awareness-building project for IDEX.
Leadership Team
The IDEX YPG Leadership Team consists of people who would like to take on extra responsibility as committee chairs and committee members. The committees include: Marketing Committee, Membership Committee, Events Committee, Sponsorship Committee, and Development Committee. There are Chair positions for each of the committees, as well as a Chair and Co-Chair.
