IDEX grants come entirely from our network of supporters like you. Your gift to IDEX makes a world of difference when put in the hands of local groups who empowering women, building local economies, and caring for the environment.
All donations are tax-deductible, and every gift, regardless of the amount, is essential to our work.

Giving is easy.
Phone: If you wish to donate over the phone using a credit card, the office is always ready to help you. Call IDEX at 415-824-8384. Our hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm Pacific Time.

Join our Sustainer Program
No checks to write, no stamps to buy. Sustainers are a special group of donors who make hassle-free monthly or quarterly contributions, designed to spread donations into comfortable amounts over time.
Whether $10, $20 or $50 per month, members of our Sustainer Program help IDEX maximize support to our international partners. Our international partners can rely on us because we can rely on you.

Give stock or securities
If you have appreciated stock that you have held for one, if not many years, consider a gift of stock to IDEX and save on taxes. When you gift the stock directly to IDEX, you not only receive a tax deduction for your gift at the current market value, but you also avoid tax liability on the appreciated gain.

Give through your workplace
Many employers make matching gifts. Find out if yours does and double the size of your contribution! Some employers arrange for pre-tax deductions and handle the donation for you to your favorite organization. IDEX's EIN (Tax ID) number is 77-0071852.

Donate in Honor of
Give the gift of global justice! By making a gift to IDEX in honor of a friend, colleague, or loved one, you are directly supporting communities around the world!
Make your gift online and if you enter an email address for your honoree, they will receive an email notifying them of your gift. Or just enter in their name and mailing address and we will mail the recipient a personalized card notifying them of your gift.
Or you can download and print your own acknowledgment card.
This is a wonderful way to support IDEX and make a gift in line with your values!
Host a House Party
If you love events and wish to introduce your friends or colleagues to the work of IDEX, consider hosting a house party. These home- or office-based fundraisers are great ways to raise funds for the incredible work of our international partners.

Our Planned Gift Program offers a variety of gift vehicles that may offer increased benefits to you and IDEX by coordinating your philanthropy with your financial or estate plans.
