Note: All of our internships are in IDEX’s San Francisco office. We do not offer overseas internships.
Also, our volunteer needs expand and change. The opportunities listed below may or may not be available at the current time.

IDEX asks volunteers to commit to a weekly schedule of 4–6 hours daytime or evenings for a period of 3–6 months. Internships follow a more regular schedule of a minimum of 6–10 hours per week during regular office hours. Necessary training and supervision will be provided for interns, the work may or may not be connected to a course of study.

All internships including summer internships are unpaid, although we do offer assistance with transportation for interns working in the office at least 3 days a week. IDEX will also give assistance in processing paperwork towards credit or grants.

Select up to three opportunities that most interest you. This will help us in finding the best match for your skills and experience, and for IDEX’s needs.
