Donations to IDEX
When you make a donation to IDEX through our online donation processing service, Groundspring.org, Groundspring collects a variety of personal information in order to properly process the donation. This personal information may include: name, address, phone, e-mail address, credit card information, and donation amount.
Groundspring does not use the personal information that donors provide for any purpose except to complete the transaction and to provide a confirmation (receipt) for the donation. Individuals who donate to IDEX, online or otherwise, receive a subscription to our bi-annual print newsletter (more information below).
Security of Online Donations
IDEX’s online donation processing service Groundspring uses industry-leading Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to keep your personal information and transaction secure.
Our Email Newsletter
IDEX offers an occasional email newsletter, The IDEX eUpdate. IDEX sends this out to interested individuals who opt in to subscribe on the IDEX web site (see our Sign Up page) or though personal contact.
Subscribers may choose to unsubscribe at any time and unsubscribe information is located at the bottom of each eUpdate. Individuals who donate to IDEX online through Groundspring are not automatically subscribed to the eUpdate.
Our Bi-annual Print Newsletter
IDEX offers a bi-annual print newsletter, The IDEX Update. IDEX sends this out to interested individuals who opt in to subscribe on the IDEX web site or though personal contact. Individuals who donate to IDEX, online or otherwise, receive a subscription to The IDEX Update. Recipients may unsubscribe at any time by contacting IDEX by phone or via the contact form.
Correcting or Updating Personal Information
If your contact information changes, or if you would like to be removed from either or both our electronic and print mailing lists, IDEX will correct, update or remove that information. To make such a change, please contact us by phone or via the contact form.
